Welcome to Ceiba Tree Casitas!
This casita is one of 2 situated on a 3/4 acre sea front lot. The home was built January 2023 and we have one of the largest Ceiba trees on the island right out the front door!
This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is the perfect getaway, offering everything you need for a relaxing retreat. The spacious wrap-around deck features multiple access points from inside, where you can unwind in the hammocks and listen to the soothing sound of waves breaking on the reef in the distance. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare meals, while the bathroom boasts a large shower and double sinks. Enjoy on-demand hot water throughout the home. To keep cool, there are two AC units—one in the bedroom and one in the main living area.
There are also kayaks available to go out and check out the sea which are shared if there are others staying on the property.
Lots of cool creatures to see around the property! Many varieties of sea life like eagle rays, puffer fish, barracuda, needle fish and tons of crabs. On the property you will see lizards, iguanas and numerous types of feathered friends especially hummingbirds!
The casita is nestled on the East End of the island, offering a peaceful escape from the more touristy areas, yet still conveniently close to everything you need—without the crowds! Located at the end of a quiet road with only one way in and out, we enjoy a sense of seclusion. Camp Bay, Paya Bay and Diamond Rock are just a short drive away, and you'll find a variety of great restaurants nearby, including in the neighboring village of Punta Gorda.
We do recommend renting a car so you can freely explore the area.
The home sleeps 4 with a queen bed in the bedroom and then a full/queen sofa bed with all the bedding stored in it in the living area.

Great home for a couple. New construction. Not having an electric fee is rare on the island because electricity is so expensive. Nice location next to Punta Gorda.
READ THE DIRECTIONS! I stupidly didn't and couldn't find it but the instructions are very clear!Wow this place is amazing. what a location! the hosts were great at communicating, the house has everything you need and is Beautiful. highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time at Ceiba Tree Casitas. Super clean, safe and private. These casitas are beautiful! Having kayaks for our use was a great plus. The home sits on a very large ocean front lot. You can kayak to Punta Gorda and the reef is right out front too. Jacy and Mark are very responsive and sent perfect directions to find the home and great tips for our stay. The home had everything needed for our stay and will be coming back for sure!
I had the best time at this casita! It was only one night to explore the east end of the island and I wish I could have stayed longer. The home had everything you need and is gorgeous! Bed was comfy and the huge shower was very nice. Very private and safe area with all kinds of cool lizards, crabs and birds. Love the view of the bay. Another perk is that this home is on a well so you drink the water! Next time I come back to Roatan I am staying here longer, maybe rent out both casitas.
Stunning location just perfect to experience a vibrant little town of Punta Gorda ,a mangrove island , the ocean and the access to the beautiful east side of Roatan .We we’re fortunate enough to meet Jacey ..very fun energetic lady .We are one of the first to stay In her beautiful new Cabina and it’s just perfect ! Beautiful high ceilings and gorgeous tiles and wood accents .Very airy space so we only used AC in our room at night .AC is very efficient it hardly ran ..very quiet unit. The property is very secure and it comes equipped with a great neighbour who we will be friends for life with now .He will probably offer you a boat ride in his traditional island boat which is another entire bonus for staying there .Roatan is very mountainous and has very curvy roads however access to the property was no problem with our 2 wheel drive ..beautiful cement road down into the location .Very well done .She has planted many cool trees and plants and can’t wait to visit again to see the growth!
Casita #2 is an awesome place. Brand new. About 100 feet from the front steps to the water. I selected this place because of the kayaks, and that is what made it so much fun. The water's edge is not a sandy beach, but a mangrove flat. You could swim from the water's edge, but much better to kayak about 30 yards out to shallow clear water. Paddle about 300 yards to the inside edge of the reef and you have your own beautiful private snorkeling in 6' of water. Bring a small rope to pull the kayak with you as you snorkel. I did it for hours. As Jacy suggests, you really need a car to get here and to be able to get around. A taxi from Coxen Hole to here is $50 or so. You can walk to Punta Gorda in 10 minutes but very limited on buying anything there. The Casita was spotless, and had everything you would need as far as utensils, coffee maker, range, refrigerator.
We had a great time in Ceiba Tree Casita. The casita has everything you need. It was bright and clean. It is a short walk across football field and water's edge to Punta Gorda, use a bit of caution at night walking- as with anywhere. The location worked great for us as we wanted to explore the east end of the island. Jayce was great at answering my questions and provided some good ideas for around the area. If you are here to scuba dive, Dive Pangea was great.
Jacy are very responsive host and a joy to communicate . The place is really nice and clean. We're enjoyed our stay there and will be returning in the future.
