This casita is 1 of 2 situated on a private 3/4 acre sea front lot. The home was built in September of 2022.
This charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is the perfect getaway, offering everything you need for a relaxing retreat. The spacious wrap-around deck features multiple access points from inside, where you can unwind in the hammocks and listen to the soothing sound of waves breaking on the reef in the distance. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare meals, while the bathroom boasts a large shower and double sinks. Enjoy on-demand hot water throughout the home. To keep cool, there are two AC units—one in the bedroom and one in the main living area.
There are also kayaks available to go out and check out the sea which are shared if there are others staying on the property.
Lots of cool creatures to see around the property! Many varieties of sea life like eagle rays, puffer fish, barracuda, needle fish and tons of crabs. On the property you will see lizards, iguanas and numerous types of feathered friends especially hummingbirds!
The casita is nestled on the East End of the island, offering a peaceful escape from the more touristy areas, yet still conveniently close to everything you need—without the crowds! Located at the end of a quiet road with only one way in and out, we enjoy a sense of seclusion. Camp Bay, Paya Bay and Diamond Rock are just a short drive away, and you'll find a variety of great restaurants nearby, including in the neighboring village of Punta Gorda.
We do recommend renting a car so you can freely explore the area.
The home sleeps 4 with a queen bed in the bedroom and then a full/queen sofa bed with all the bedding stored in it in the living area.

Exactly as advertised
My wife and I spent a week at this property. From Check-in to Checkout, it was exactly as advertised. We had a few very small issues (1. Remote for light ceiling fan didn't work 2.) Broke a bottle of wine on floor and couldn't find mop) both of these incidents were quickly resolved through communicating with owners who were quick to respond. We would stay here again without hesitation.
The Hosts were fast to response always!
100% need a car for the location but the spot is ideal for those looking to explore the east side of the island. With a car you are within 30 minutes to beaches, beach clubs, restaurants, small grocery shops. A short 10/15 min walk to Punta Gorda for evening drinks or dinner watching the sunset. Quiet and safe area. Soccer field next door for morning exercise or night time star gazing. Free to use kayaks and laundry was amazing. Kitchen very well stocked. Shower was great, big bathroom. The extra Couch bed/futon was comfortable. Fast wifi, cold A/C, drinking water from the tap!!! We recommend Punta Gorda sundays, La Sirena, Beach Day pass at Media Luna ($10), Comedor Gabriela, Hole in the wall plus the boat ride ($20 from HITW) to the mangroves and ask to stop at Happys landing too! The Hosts were fast to response always! Would stay again and would recommend.

A little hidden gem
Jacy’s place was a little hidden gem. It’s a Tranquilo place to go to, to get away from the hustle-bustle of the west side of the island. It is right on the ocean and kayaks made it easy to access the reef. Washer and dryer on site is a rare thing. New build with modern finishes. Hot water on demand was awesome for warm showers on the rainy days. Kitchen was well stocked and over all place was very roomy. The ceiba tree and outdoor shower were super cool! The covered deck made it convenient to be outside even when the weather was not on our side. The host was exceptional responsive and answered all questions we had in a very timely fashion. We highly recommend this place.

Love the quick response for any questions that I had prior to booking my stay. Also, providing detailed descriptions for everything you need to know about the Casita and Roatan. The stay was lovely. The place was super clean. Enjoyed the breeze on the deck and listening to the animals and the sound of the water. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Absolutely loved our stay!
Absolutely loved our stay! The home was immaculate and the setting serene. Jacy was super helpful and responsive before and during our stay. The neighbor, Howard, and his help Nargel were an amazing asset. From info to taking us out on his boat for a very fair price. We're already looking at our calendar to see when we can go back next year.
Perfect for our first experience in Roatan
This Airbnb was perfect for our first experience in Roatan. Kayaking, snorkeling and swimming all amazing and interesting places to go. Some of the roads were difficult to manage, but we did well with the 4wd vehicle we rented. We stopped at a grocery store before starting the drive to the East which was helpful to stock the kitchen. Some condiments were provided and great to have a available. Wonderful time in Punta Blanca.
What a place! Very, very clean....
What a place! Very, very clean and AC kept us cool. We enjoyed the privacy and location right by the water. Kitchen was stocked with all the that we needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Jacy gives really clear instructions prior to arrival and at check out. Great communication. Absolutely no problems and enjoyed our stay so much we are staying again the next week.

Enjoy a beautiful, new house in a pristine part of Roatan. If you want a peaceful stay, with the most amazing beach of Roatan 15 min drive away (Camp Bay Beach), look no further. Brand new house, very clean with a beautiful bathroom, just step aways from the ocean, and away from tourists on the west side of the island. The property has all things available for an enjoyable stay (a couple of kayaks are shared between this and the second casita). The directions and check-in were spotless, the house is about 2 km onto the dirt road (but easy to drive through even with a sedan) that lead to Camp Bay. Very quiet and allows you to enjoy a different type of Caribbean vacations.

Probably one of the nicest properties we’ve stayed at over the years. Location as advertised: steps to the water through a lockable gate that allowed easy launching of the kayaks. Entry/driveway through a lockable front gate made for a very secure vibe. Spectacular setting with the enormous ceiba tree right outside. The casita was spotless and the bedroom and pullout couch was really comfortable. We opened the screened windows and ran the ceiling fans at night; never needed to turn on the AC. Kitchen has all the basics re pots/pans/coffee maker/etc and everything appeared to be brand new. No see um bugs would find you on the covered deck but a little bug spray would let you sit outside without a problem.Jacy is such a great communicator and a wonderful host. We experienced great suggestions, making sure there weren’t any problems and quick replies to messages.I’d return to Roatan and rent this property in a heartbeat.
